Every moment was amazing. We were meet at the airport and even though it was a long drive it was great to see the area. The food every day was very good. The hunting every day was an adventure all its own. Our PH (Nippy) and trackers took great care of us. Thanks for a great time. We will be back.

My first hunt in Africa (July 27-Aug 4, 2024j with Simon as PH was a fantastic experience and a complete success! I did a custom package that consisted of Cape Buffalo, Kudu, Nyala, Blesbuck, Common Springbuck, Impala and Zebra. The hunts and shots were challenging especially for a Texas Hunter accustomed to sitting in a blind and making 100 yard shots. My longest shot was 480 yards on a Kudu from the side of a large hill with a dialed in Sako 7 mm mag rifle. My PH was very selective on the animals (at my request) and his relentless pursuit of those animals was impressive. The food and lodging was also outstanding. We ate a lot of wild game and it was very well prepared and tasted like prime beef. The terrain at Huntershill was also spectacular as the 55,000 acre property consisted of both beautiful mountain ranges and vast grassy plains. These guys are very sociable and sitting around the campfire in the evening after dinner with some adult beverages was so much fun and very entertaining. My room was very large and kept squeaky clean at all times. We had a day to spare before departing so the PH’s (Simon, AK and James B.) took our hunting party of 4 golfing at Katberg (a few hours away) and what a beautiful and very challenging course in the mountains. Thank you Simon and other staff at Huntershill for the wonderful memories!! In summary, I will be returning because every aspect of my experience at Huntershill was exceptional!!

The absolute trip of a lifetime! My 14 year old daughter and myself are still thunderstruck on how amazing our first safari went. Beyond expectations! From the minute we landed in Port Elizabeth, to the return trip back to the airport, I have nothing but the highest praise for this organization. This operation is an extremely well oiled machine. After discussing Huntershill with other clientele (who have more substantial experience with South African outfitters then we do) it leads to even greater appreciation. I am led to believe there a substantial number of “sketchy” South African outfitters. NOT HUNTERSHILL!! My Professional Hunter Gregg B. was amazing! A combination of host, big brother, teacher, therapist, & comedian, hands down a top notched professional. A couple of quick tips: Don’t overpack. Only bring about 2 of everything, laundry gets done every day – whether you want it or not. Use the Professional Hunter’s rifle. It avoids the hassle of traveling with guns, it is dialed in for longer ranges (200 – 500 yards) and has the added benefit of a silencer (making it more comfortable to shoot). My daughter & I will most certainly be returning to Huntershill.

My trip to Huntershill was a complete success. From the pickup at the airport until we left there was not one negative thing to say. The staff was wonderful. My PH (Jason) was great. He was clearly working hard for us to harvest everything that we had planned to hunt. He actually went above and beyond. The accommodations were very nice. The food was great. The whole trip was fantastic and I cannot wait to go back.

I was very pleased with my trip to Huntershills. I went there May 2021. The owner personally greeted me upon arrival. My PH Boyce was a perfect match for me. Boyce never once tried to up sell my package and was extremely accommodating. My trip was a huge success. Safe, friendly, very laid back environment. Plenty of animals in the area. I am definitely going to return.

We stayed at Huntershill in June of 2019. Our fist time in Africa. Greg and his staff were fantastic. Our PH William was one of a kind. We’re are counting down the days till we go back.
